will be targeted at small groups (5 and max 12 students), to ensure better participation and a formula similar to the dynamic educational workshops. All courses

The ninth edition of Netmage festival be held in Bologna from 22 to 24 January 2009 , in conjunction with Art Fair.
International appointment by Xing dedicated to electronic arts , Netmage will present a multidisciplinary program that intercepts' unpredictable scenario contemporary audiovisual research.
at the festival will be the spaces of Palazzo Re Enzo that will host live-cinema, concerts, performance events, environments, sound installations and visual arts. The
international ban, survey instrument and selection, has seen the nomination of more than 180 projects from around the world. Among these three authors were chosen (Pierre Bastien, Pascal Battus, Kamel Maad) giving priority to research that problematize the most complex image-sound relationship and exploring the worlds of musicians and composers of real pedigree.

Ispirato al Dr Mabuse di Fritz Lang, con il pretesto di una narrazione culto, lo spettacolo esplora la relazione tra il linguaggio del movimento e il mistero dell´immagine, immersi nei soundscapes di Luke Stoneham.
Infine il Megascope Virgilio Villoresi hosts the third leg of Eclipse , show optical objects moved in real time through the process of the darkroom, with live music by Dominique Vaccaro. A visual story near the Central European animation and magical atmosphere of the first experiments on optical media.
Meta-pagination of the atmospheres of 09 is Netmage Oblivia the last phase of the project Village Oblivia of Wintermute, a nomadic settlement spread in different spaces that evoke echoes of neo-medieval role-playing games (Second Foundation), Black Metal, British Psychedelic Folk and the contribution of other guests of the festival.
